My experience at Aloe Plus Lanzarote began in 2013, when I joined the team at the new aloe vera museum that was opening its doors in the south of the island.
For several years, I was responsible for the center during a deeply enriching phase, both for the working atmosphere and the close relationship with our customers. This is where I started as a trainer, sharing what I am most passionate about: knowledge about our aloe, the values that define us as a company, and the importance of every detail in customer service.
However, beyond teaching a product or a protocol, my true intention was always to prepare each candidate for a new stage where they could feel part of something bigger; and thus, become brand ambassadors, capable above all of welcoming those who visit us with warmth, respect, and hospitality. Because, in the end, that is what truly leaves a mark.
Over time, and thanks to my university education and a constant desire to keep learning, I have been able to assume new responsibilities and grow professionally. As the company consolidated and expanded its horizons, its needs also evolved. It was then that I was transferred to the headquarters to continue my training work from there, while also taking on the management of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and company communication, among other cross-cutting functions.
I am especially grateful for the trust that has been placed in me over the years, as it has allowed me to become fully involved in the commitment to sustainability that the company has maintained since its inception. This has enabled me to contribute not only to the growth of those of us who are part of this project, but also to generating a positive impact on society and our environment.
Overall, I feel very proud to belong to a company that has committed so much to our island since day one. Lanzarote is present in everything we do: it is highlighted through our museums and shops, in each of our products, and also in the identity that defines us as a brand.
We know that our differential value lies in the uniqueness of our environment and the quality of our raw material, aloe vera. Therefore, raising awareness about its properties and the products of our land is, also, a way of betting on ourselves.
