Raúl Caraballo Santos

I graduated with a Degree in Biology from the University of La Laguna. My role at Aloe Plus Lanzarote focuses on ensuring the highest quality for all the products we develop, guaranteeing full compliance with current regulations in both the food and cosmetics sectors.

I assume responsibility for the quality management system in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard, ensuring proper traceability, control, and development of our products throughout every phase of the process.

Furthermore, I act as Technical Director, actively participating in the validation, improvement, and control of production and formulation processes. I am also directly involved in the development of new projects, including new formulations, lines of research, and innovation initiatives.

My background is complemented by a specialization in ISO 9001 quality systems, cosmetic safety, and cosmetovigilance, as well as microbiological control applied to food and cosmetic products. This technical foundation allows me to approach my work with a rigorous perspective and guarantee the correct execution of my duties.

My role at Aloe Plus Lanzarote consists of applying scientific criteria and rigor to how we understand aloe vera: from its cultivation and processing to its integration into functional products. This approach enables us to differentiate ourselves as producers, reinterpreting elements of our heritage and cultural wealth from a technical standpoint, where innovation and development are backed by a solid foundation of quality.

Our future objectives are closely linked to sustainability, innovation, transparency, and enhancing the value of our region across its social, cultural, and economic dimensions.

As a member of the editorial team, my contribution aims to translate this focus into our content, providing rigorous, well-founded, and useful information that allows for a deep understanding of aloe vera, its applications, and the processes that guarantee its quality from a technical yet accessible perspective.
